1) Check the date of this post. It was written in December 2006, long before the current primary season and shortly after Obama first announced he was going to run for POTUS.

2) If you bothered to actually read the post, I was going after the media and the (Dem, though not exclusively) voting public and their ways of getting caught up in the wave of a Rock Star Tour, which is what we have had since the day Obama announced to this present day.

As for the “Osama…err…Obama” line, I was just parroting the Hero of Chappaquidick, Teddy the Drunk.
