So, now that the Obama administration has let it’s Maoist slip show, we are seeing this joke of an administration trying to perform a little bit of magical history revision. (With their Prostitute Press walking, as always, in lockstep) According to this latest fairy tale, all of the fault for this report 1) being written, 2) being released and 3) being raked over the coals is the fault of…drumroll please…George W. Bush. Yes, the time-space continuim has been crossed and W himself wrote, approved and released the Obama missive.

What? You were thinking they were going to blame Martin Van Buren for it? (Of course, if they could get away with that, they would most certainly try).

As simply and bitch-slappingly written by Ed Morrisey at HotAir.com (Hat-Tip Michelle Malkin):

First, while the Bush administration might have wanted an assessment of right-wing extremist threats, it didn’t necessarily want one that painted returning veterans and conservative thought on abortion, illegal immigration, and federalism as extremist threats, nor did it want a threat assessment that couldn’t find a threat and had no data on actual, specific groups. Secondly, and most obviously, this report was dated April 7, 2009, almost 3 months after Bush left office.

Just when does the new administration take responsibility for reports they release? 2013? For people who thought Bush was such a dunce, they seem to give him remarkable powers to control government months after he’s retired to Crawford.

Now we see that this wasn’t just left lying around from the Bush administration. In fact, it was such a rush job that Janet Napolitano couldn’t wait to resolve the obvious civil-liberty concerns raised by her own lawyers before shoving it out the door. Napolitano would later have to backtrack on the exact same language flagged by the attorneys by claiming that she didn’t specifically approve the report issued by her office and that she would have changed the language in hindsight. She had the opportunity to fix it before its release, but the completely threadbare report was deemed such a high priority that it went out anyway.

As with the Protocols of Sion, the naked fraud being perpetrated here is plain for all sober-thinking Americans (which leaves out a majority of the Democratic voters) to see. Strawmen must be created (homicidal vets), an enemies list must be filled out (ordinary Americans who voice any dissent) and villians must be named (CEO’s, anyone not on the government heroin-addicting dole and anyone who has to wash their hands more than twice a day). The sheer contempt that is shown for the majority of Americans by these jokers is just one thing, but the power that they now wield is another thing altogether.

The mere fact that an American is a vet, or pro-life or an NRA member or attends a Christian church is enough in their minds to justify both smearing them with a 5th grade report and passing it out to law enforcement all across the country, to be used as a guideline for, dare I say it, PROFILING. A four-letter word when Bush was in the White House. A perfectly acceptable tactic when the Left is in power.

The real value of this report is not just the outrage and lawsuits that it is already generating. (Thomas More and Weiner Nation have already filed suits). No, what is most important it is that it exposes the true intent of the modern Left and their fellow travelers and dovetails well with Obama’s recent proclamations, such as, “We are not a Christian Nation.” (That would be news to the Founders) and “We are not at war with Islam.” (Hey dummy, who but you said we were?).

We have now gone from Obama and his groupies besmirching Americans in overseas speeches and endless press orgies (which used to be called conferences) to a direct, on paper, coordinated attack on the very heart of America.
