Here we go again.

Liberal hypocrisy and stupidity on parade in Lesson #1,255,366 in the syllabus.

You would think that some people would actually learn to keep their foot out of their mouths, instead of doing a Joe Biden Power Step. But, we are talking about politicians here.

Boston Mayor Tom Menino, who just a few days ago, was threatening to block any new Chick-Fil-A restaraunts from opening in the Boston area due to it’s CEO’s stand on “gay marriage”, has backpedaled hard on that threat, after it was discovered that he had personally helped a radical, homosexual-bashing imam obtain land in the area for the construction of a mosque. Complete with a very Chris Dodd-like price.

Given his stance on Chick-fil-A, would Mayor Tom Menino grant permits to a group that has counted among its leaders a man who has repeatedly called homosexuality a “crime that must be punished” by death?

Actually, he has done that  . . . and more! Menino effectively gave away city land valued at $1.8 million to the organization, and he gave a speech at its ribbon-cutting ceremony.

It’s the Islamic Society of Boston’s mosque, and when it comes to anti-gay sentiment, one of its early supporters makes Chick-fil-A look like the Provincetown Men’s Chorus.

Of course, the mayor has no power to stop commerce of this kind. After being called out on his ridiculous statement, he backed off with a self-deprecating, “I make mistakes all the time,” he told the Herald. “That’s a Menino-ism.”.

As the author states, “When even you admit your own name is a synonym for “Boy, that was dumb,” it’s time to start re-thinking before you speak.”

It is hard to believe that Boston was one of the starting points of the American Revolution, when you consider the kind of morons that populate the city today.
