GloriaGate: Mark Levin DESTROYS Gloria Allred; Coordination with CA Unions?
As one Levin Facebook poster put it: “If conservatism had Oscars, today’s call with Gloria would have won you Best Evisceration of a Lib.”
You do not often see an epic mismatch of this type. It is akin to the modern-day Kansas City Royals playing the 1927 New York Yankees. Needless to say, I was quite hepped up when I downloaded Levin’s podcast last night and heard that Allred was actually going to show up on his show and discuss GloriaGate.
In perhaps the most naked and dirtiest political trick since Alan “Creep” Colmes and other assorted Leftist Chester the Molesters tried to force their way into Sarah Palin’s womb, Super Sleaze Democrat Puppet Lawyer Gloria “Pelosi Twin” Allred, along with some hack immigration attorney have cooked up some scheme to derail Meg Whitman’s bid to be California’s next governor.
Claiming that Meg Whitman’s long time housekeeper of nine years suddenly dropped out of the sky like manna from Heaven and into their offices, carrying with her juicy tidbits about lying, abuse and coverups during her time there, Allred then did what she does best. Make a beeline to nearest microphone and start screaming like a banshee going through menopause and C-section at the same time. Waving a piece of paper from seven years ago that “proved” that the Whitman’s knowingly knew this woman was an illegal alien. Etc. Etc. Etc. Rinse and repeat. (For clarification, check out any Wiki entry on the Duke Lacrosse Hoax)
Listen to the interview on The Mark Levin Show’s site here.
A few points to be made about Allred’s comments, such as they were, since she spent virtually the entire interview using the tired, old Leftist tactic of first trying to derail the conversation from the facts at hand and then when that failed, personally attacking the host. In this case, implying that Levin is a racist who has something against “housekeepers” and “Latinas”. You would think that the taste from these Leftist Vomit Points would lose their flavor over the years, as they are passed from one Lefty mouth to another.
The first point is how hysterical she was when evading the simple questions that Levin was asking. Such as asking whether Allred knew this woman was in fact, an illegal alien. (Allred’s non-answer that she was a human being and not a space alien has to be the best example of why she be disbarred in the first place). Allred did finally hem and haw and finally said that she did know that this housekeeper was indeed (to use the DemoSeptic term) an “undocumented worker”.
When Levin then tried to probe as to why Allred and this immigration attorney were making such a public spectacle about this and how this was exposing the housekeeper to some very, very serious federal immigration charges (such as forging I-9 and Social Security documents, which are felonies), Allred went absolutely ballistic and then proceeded to tar Levin with the usual Leftist smears mentioned above. She then hemmed and hawed some more and gave the preposterous answer that her “client” was in full agreement with this Jerry Springer Show audition and fully understood the consequences.
Of course, when asked whether whether this was a pro-bono case and if not, who was paying her and the immigration attorney, she then proceeded to say that was “privileged and confidential” information. as Levin said, it may be confidential, but not privileged.
And when Levin then asked point-blank if Allred had any contacts with agents or intermediaries of the Jerry Brown campaign, she spent most of the time dodging the question and never giving a clear answer. (as was her wont throughout the interview)
While the Brown campaign stays deathly silent on this issue, the plot thickens, as this Reuters piece suggests:
(Reuters) – California’s largest public employees union has seized on charges that Meg Whitman knowingly hired an illegal immigrant as a housekeeper, funding a Spanish-language TV spot that calls the Republican nominee for governor a “woman of two faces.”
The campaign ad seeks to damage Whitman’s standing among Latino voters, a typically Democratic constituency in California that the billionaire and former eBay CEO has courted in her tight race against Democratic rival Jerry Brown.
“Whitman attacks undocumented workers to win votes, but an undocumented woman worked in her house for nine years,” a narrator says in Spanish in the ad, launched by a campaign committee funded by the Service Employees International Union.
“Whitman says one thing in Spanish and something different when she speaks English. The true Whitman has no shame. She is a woman of two faces.”
Housekeeper Nicky Diaz surfaced on Wednesday to claim that Whitman and her husband, Dr. Griff Harsh, knowingly employed her illegally for nine years and treated her poorly.
Whitman fiercely denies the charge, saying Diaz lied to the couple about her immigration status and was being manipulated by attorney Gloria Allred, a friend and supporter of Brown.
My, my. How innnnnnteresting (using my best Arte Johnson voice) that what amounts to a Brown campaign commercial (in Spanish, no less) is put together by the state’s largest public sector (read: SEIU) and airs less then 24 hours after the Allred stunt.
Desperation can be fun to watch.

Regardless of your opinion on this, Levin was dispicable! He doesn’t know how to conduct a respecable interview, unless you’re so far to the right that you’ve fallen off the cliff. It’s this kind of aggressive conservative attitude that turns so many people off and give the Tea Party a bad name.
There are many points of view in this country. You can’t have an intelligent conversation if you don’t respect that.
