Democrats Officially Put on Endangered Species List
Amazing what a little reality and butt-kicking can do to knock political inflated egos down a notch or a hundred.
Doing my best Marlin Perkins:
“Hello and welcome to Wild Kingdom. Today we have a great show. Democrats and Leftists in the Wild – Survival Edition!
Hear their cries of anguish when their natural diet of taxpayer mana and political payoffs succumbs to the political storms of the day.
See them react in instinctive ways when cornered by their enemies, pushing lemmings aside to jump off of the nearest cliff.
Thrill to their squabbles over dwindling payoffs that can turn deadly!
We have the footage, so fire up those TIVOs and record this for posterity. You will want to show this to your kids and grandkids when they are old enough to understand and also learn to talk back to their Zookeeper Leftist teachers!
Our first exhibit is the species Democratus Wannabe Centrist. This species is similar to the chameleon in that it changes colors and calls whenever threatened. Usually changing from it’s natural color of red to a red, white and blue hue and also softening it’s call, so as to appear less threatening to it’s enemies.
Habitat: Indiana

Even before the votes are counted, Senator Evan Bayh is warning fellow Democrats that ignoring the lessons of the Massachusetts Senate race will “lead to even further catastrophe” for their party.
“There’s going to be a tendency on the part of our people to be in denial about all this,” Bayh told ABC News, but “if you lose Massachusetts and that’s not a wake-up call, there’s no hope of waking up.” …
“The only we are able to govern successfully in this country is by liberals and progressives making common cause with independents and moderates,” Bayh said. “Whenever you have just the furthest left elements of the Dem party attempting to impose their will on the rest of the country — that’s not going to work too well.” …
“It’s why moderates and independents even in a state as Democratic as Massachusetts just aren’t buying our message. They just don’t believe the answers we are currently proposing are solving their problems. That’s something that has to be corrected.”
Our next exhibit is Melonheadus Democratus Wanderer. This species, despite, or maybe because of (no one really knows) it’s odd shaped head has a very unfortunate tendency to get lost while on the move. After straying far from it’s home territory, it will try to take over an opponent’s lair, usually using a noxious spray that besmirches its opponent in a smelly, black ink.

Calling the election an referendum on the “openness and integrity of our government process,” Webb wrote in a statement: “It is vital that we restore the respect of the American people in our system of government and in our leaders. To that end, I believe it would only be fair and prudent that we suspend further votes on health care legislation until Senator-elect Brown is seated.”
Our final exhibit is an oddly named critter officially named Oscarus Mayerus Doggus, but more commonly called the Weiner. Unlike the other creatures mentioned here, it dwells in urban areas, usually in sewers and under rocks. It survives by gathering large amounts of refuse that is constantly spilled by the environment’s inhabitants and using it to build nests and lairs while spreading common ailments like Leftus Loonyus and Marxist Mono. One that is better left alone, as it’s utterances have been known to lower the IQ of those who come into contact with it.
From Politico:
“The only way to go forward is to take a step back. If there isn’t any recognition that we got the message and we are trying to recalibrate and do things differently, we are not only going to risk looking ignorant but arrogant,” said Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.), one of the leading advocates for health reform in the House.
“I don’t think it would be the worst thing to take a step back and say we are going to pivot to do a jobs thing” and include elements of health care reform in it, he said.
