MengeleCare Passes 220-211; Dems Gloat; I Predict Dems Lose 150+ Seats in November

Through lies, threats, payoffs, bribes and unconstitutional statutes, the Democract/Left/Marxist/Stalinist Wet Dream of over 100 years has been realized. At least by a congressional vote.

From Michelle Malkin on the aftermath:

It. Just. Got. Sicker.

12:08am Eastern. Pelosi is holding her victory speech. Gloating about the 220 votes she whipped up, she joked: “No money changed hands, of course.”

Mark those words.

Waxman moans that “Democrats had to do it alone.” Er, you forgot to reconcile your talking points with the White House, Henry.

Update 12:20am Eastern: Delusional Democrat Sandy Levin: “We spread the American wings of opportunity and community.”

Louise Slaughter: “There is nothing now that we can’t tackle.” Shudder.

Corruptocrat Dems can cackle now. They will eat crow later.

As I have been saying for a year now (time to gloat), far longer than any “political pundit” or talking head, the Dems are doomed in 2010. Americans do not like socialism, marxism or any other lefty word that ends in “ism”. They do not like being lied to openly, mocked openly, having their constitution trampled upon and 200+ years of civilized political process spat upon. They do not appreciate being derided as nuts, kooks or being smeared as malcontents, Nazis or the KKK. (That has always been the Democrats domain).

The lines have truly been drawn now. And not just because of this MengeleCare monstrosity, but even more so, the way it was rammed down the throat of the American people’s throat as a heavy-handed, dictatorial process. Which is most certainly the way Dems will try to pass official Crap and Steal, Card Check and Amnesty legislation now. They have no regards for rules, (not that they ever did anyway), but now they openly boast about it, thinking now that they have the process in gear, there will be no stopping their goals, no matter who sits in the halls of Congress or the White House.

While that may happen over the next several years to decades, I think we are at the most pivotal point in this country’s history since the Civil War. This vote and the others that will come after it, will truly be the Democrats Waterloo and Pickett’s Charge. I now easily see the Dems losing at least 150 seats in the House. After the dust has settled after November 2, they might be lucky to have 50 seats in the House. The Senate shall also be a bloodbath, but that will be a harder job, though hardly impossible.

Red State puts it well:

Already we have a few Republicans positioning themselves in grand theatrics to call for full repeal of Obamacare. But these same Republicans in the past have talked about the good parts of the bill and how repeal should be measured. The only way to ensure today’s rhetoric turns into future consistent actions is to surround these Republicans with true conservative warriors.

Friends, if we are going to destroy the Democrats, we must first build up an army of real conservatives in Congress. Half measures, Democrat-lite, and men who compromise in favor of more government must be unacceptable.

Let me be blunt: any Republican who says we will repeal and replace will themselves be replaced. We want repeal period.

While that is a great start, the conservatives that will hopefully be in the leadership (since hopefully McCain and his clones will be history) need to map a 5 year plan of their own. And it needs to reach much farther then just trying repeal MengeleCare and whatever else the Dems pass before they are led to slaughter in November. There needs to be a complete battle plan to utterly and totally defund the left at every level. From every level of every government agency to the government run schools and universities, to their money-laundering union enforcers. (SEIU, AFSCME, NEA etc). Their political money and muscle needs to be cut off, once and for all. Otherwise, we will be back in the same boat 4, 6 or 12 years from now. Even if everything that has been passed over the last 14 months is utterly repealed.
