SEIU Klan…errr…Union Members Walk on Kenneth Gladney Beating

Posted by NosferatusCoffin | July 13th, 2011

As I wrote a couple of years ago, the Kenneth Gladney beating was “One that would give Robert Byrd and other long-time Democrat Klan members wet dreams and recalling the good old days”.

Well today, they and their SEIU bastard children can now celebrate another lynching.

Story from Big Government

Since St. Louis is the Poor Man’s Chicago, it is not surprising that a good amount of the jury pool had union ties. And also practicing the time-honored, union strategy of intimidating and starting down those would challenge them. It reminds me a lot of the Duke Lacrosse Hoax. (minus Al’s bullhorn, of course)

SEIU Racial Terrorists Plead “Not Guilty” in MO Racial Hate Crime

Posted by NosferatusCoffin | April 21st, 2010

You might remember the name Kenneth Gladney. He was the man who was beaten, kicked, had racial slurs thrown at him and was hospitalized by SEIU thugs and St. Louis Dispatch reporter Jake Wagman, back last summer during a town held by Sen. Russ Caranahan.

From Big Government:

Gladney, a cancer survivor, was selected for the beatdown because he was handing out “Don’t Tread On Me” flags and because he was black.

The St. Louis Post Dispatch reported at the time:

Kenneth Gladney, a 38-year-old conservative activist from St. Louis, said he was attacked by some of those arrested as he handed out yellow flags with “Don’t tread on me” printed on them. He spoke to the Post-Dispatch from the emergency room of the St. John’s Mercy Medical Center, where he said he was waiting to be treated for injuries to his knee, back, elbow, shoulder and face that he suffered in the attack. Gladney, who is black, said one of his attackers, also a black man, used a racial slur against him before the attack started.

The national media and NAACP ignored the hate crime. Gladney didn’t fit the mold.

It says at the time, because the link to this story produces (and has for a good while) a 404 page. Obviously, when it was found out that one of the Dispatch’s own reporters participated in the beating, they took that story down. Typical media cowards.

As I noted back then:

How interesting that these once peaceful, if a bit heated town halls have all of the sudden turned into a war zone. And all of it orchestrated by the White House, and as is always the case when unions and Left-Wing parasites show up anyplace, it degenerates into hate speech, shouting threats and violence. This is their hallmark, their raison d’ete and a tactic they have perfected for the better part of half a century. And a lot of it funded by your tax dollars.

Here is the actual video. One that would give Robert Byrd and other long-time Democrat Klan members wet dreams and recalling the good old days:

Now that these union and media lowlives have pleaded not guilty, the case will go to trial. It shall be interesting seeing how corrupt the state of Missouri’s DA office truly is. Will they plea these thugs out or actually try to get a conviction? Also, how much SEIU money, (read extorted union dues mixed with taxpayer funds) will go to defend these cretins? Will Eric Holder tell them he can spare some of his ambulance-chasing/terrorist-loving defense attorneys and have them fly to MO on the taxpayer’s dime?

As Big Gov’t says, see you in court.

SEIU Head Andy Stern to Resign: SCOTUS Nomination Next?

Posted by NosferatusCoffin | April 12th, 2010

The second half of the title is only in jest…I think.

So the most frequent visitor to the The White House and personal head of Obama’s Thug Network has just announced his resignation. Either something big legally is ready to come down on his head (highly unlikely with the Puppet Master in Chief protecting him), some sort of personal scandal is in the works or maybe he is just taking the money and running, like a good little Leftist union/Government/Dem Party Official who is trying to cash out ala Gorelick or McAulliffe.

From Politico: (Hat Tip: Michelle Malkin)

Service Employees International Union President Andrew Stern, one of America’s most prominent labor leaders, is set to resign, according to a member of the union’s board and another SEIU official.

The President of an SEIU local based in Seattle, Diane Sosne, broke the news to her staffers at 11:35 this morning, local time.

“Last night I received confirmation that Andy Stern is resigning as President of SEIU. He has not yet made a public announcement; we will share the details as we become aware of them,” Sosne wrote in an email obtained by POLITICO.

Sosne offered no explanation for the move, but another SEIU official speculated that Stern had finally tired of the draining job.

“Health care getting done is a good culmination,” the official said.

This will bear watching. Especially in October and early November as election season hits a fever pitch and the inevitable Electoral Massacre of the Democrats begins.

SEUI Thug Who Tried to Terrorize the Boy Scouts Quits

Posted by NosferatusCoffin | November 20th, 2009

As noted on Michelle Malkin’s column today, Nick Balzano, the loud-mouthed SEUI past President who got his purple panties in a wad because an Allentown, PA Boy Scout and his troop had the audacity to clean up a 1,000-foot walking path in the city, has quit.

His blathering a few days ago:

“None of them can pick up a hoe. They can’t pick up a shovel. They can’t plant a flower. They can’t clear a bicycle path. They can’t do anything. Our people do that.”

The next time I see a “public service” union employee actually work, I am sure millions across America will see the spirit of Teddy Kennedy at their nearest AA meeting, clutching a copy of The Book and singing hosannas. And all of the potholes in D.C. will be filled once and for all, to boot.

His resignation today (Source: Morning Call)

Allentown union official Nick Balzano has been a political punching bag all week because he threatened to file a grievance against the city for allowing a Boy Scout to clear a walking path in a city park.

Three days of taking body blows nationally from conservative pundits, a rebuke from the Lehigh Valley’s congressman and even a lashing from his own union led Balzano to voluntarily resign his position Thursday as head of the local Service Employees International Union.

Balzano said he and seven other executive officers of the local SEIU stepped down.

”I am proud of the work I and the rest of the executive board have done over the years,” he said.

He had ”nothing against Boy Scouts” and was just ”trying to protect my jobs,” said Balzano, who had served as union president for nearly a decade.

Go molest a rattlesnake, moron.
